Cinnamon Diffuser Blend With Essential Oils For Immune Health

Diffuse these potent essential oils for strong immune health!

Cinnamon Bark essential oil for immune health

Cinnamon Bark is a powerhouse essential oil for immune health!

It contains over 60% cinnamaldehyde—a potent natural constituent that can both elevate immune health and reduce the presence of microbes.

In a diffuser, Cinnamon Bark essential oil can help:

    • Purify the air & reduce airborne germs
    • Boost your immune health
    • Calm stress & inspire confidence
    • Fill your room with a gorgeous, Cinnamon aroma!

Safety must come first!

The cinnamaldehyde in Cinnamon Bark oil can cause serious irritation to the skin or mucous membranes (like the inside of your nose).

Less is more with this oil!

Be careful not to get undiluted Cinnamon Bark oil on your skin. If you do, rub the area with a carrier oil (such as jojoba) to dilute the essential oil, or wash your skin with soap and water. And definitely wash your hands before touching your eyes!

Cinnamon Bark should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and we suggest to avoid diffusing it around babies and young children.

In this week’s recipe, I’m blending a SINGLE DROP of Cinnamon Bark with three other essential oils for immune health.

So how do the 3 other essential oils for immune health support Cinnamon Bark?

Sandalwood essential oil

Santalum album

Sandalwood is a deep, rich, woody oil.

It’s profoundly calming for the body and mind. Sandalwood oil can help you manage stress and get more restful sleep, thus improving your body’s natural immune health.

The santalols in this oil contribute to its relaxing effects, and are also shown to be effective against a variety of microbes (including some viruses).

Thyme ct. linalool essential oil

Thymus vulgaris ct. linalool

In WWI, Thyme oil was used in field hospitals to treat dressings for wounded soldiers.

That’s just one instance in a long historical tradition of using Thyme to protect the body against germs!

Some varieties of Thyme can cause irritation. Since we already have Cinnamon Bark oil in this diffuser blend, I’m using a gentle type of Thyme that contains linalool (which also happens to be one of the main components in Lavender).

Using Thyme ct. linalool essential oil for immune health offers strong protection, but with the tender touch of Lavender.

Wild Carrot essential oil

Daucus carota

We’re featuring Wild Carrot oil in our Aromahead Weekly emails for January!

Wild Carrot’s a-pinene content contributes to the air purifying effects of our diffuser blend, helping to reduce airborne microbes.

Wild Carrot oil’s light, earthy, woodsy scent is peaceful and grounding. It works hand-in-hand with Sandalwood to calm the nervous system, allowing the body to recover from the effects of stress.
